With the help of these web pages you can activate a spam filter for your emails. On the part of the Leibniz Computing Center (LRZ), incoming email is already passed through a filter. This filter marks emails as spam if a certain number of semantic criteria are met. However, since this spam filter cannot deliver a hundred percent hit rate and (very rarely) false positives occur, the spam emails are not immediately deleted.
By means of our additional spam filter you have the possibility to have these spam emails automatically moved to a "junk" folder. In addition, a log file of the spam filter activities is kept in your home directory on the server.
